CIA and America to be called to account?

It seems that the CIA has been using European Airspace and Airports for its moving of "terrorists" between secret places of captivity. The Euro MP's have finally had the courage to stand up to them. I doubt if anything will be done but once again it shows to what levels the American Government will stoop to.

Once more the Americans show total disregard for anyone!

The following transcript shows, once again the complete and utter disregard or constraint operated by the American forces. It seems to be the old, old story. If it moves, it must be enemy, Kill it! Why are the two American pilots allowed to hide behind a smokescreen, I thought this was only available to ambassadors etc. The two names POPOV also show that the gung-ho attitude is prevalent in all of the "planning" that should take place for a raid.

Lets get these pilots and all other operatives in this stupid mission in front of the judges and sent to prison for murder. They have killed innocents again! It is time we pulled out of all area's where Americans are going to operate, due to the inherent risks caused by them. The only people seemingly safe are the Iraqi people.

This is the full transcript as published in the Mirror newspaper.

The pilots of the single-seat A-10 tankbuster aircraft's call signs are Popov35 and Popov36. It is Popov36 who carries out the two attacks.
The American air controllers they liaise with are call sign Manila Hotel, Manila 34 and Lightning 34.
The transcript begins after the aircraft have been engaged in attacking enemy vehicles. First the air controller asks the pilots to confirm they have attacked the Iraqi vehicles.
Manila Hotel: "Popov from Manila Hotel. Can you confirm that you engaged that tube and those vehicles?"
Popov35: "Affirm, sir. Looks like I've got multiple vehicles in reverts at about 800 metres to the north of your arty (artillery) rounds. Can you switch fire, and shift fire, and get some arty rounds on those."
Then Popov36 reports to the US air controller what later turned out to be the British convoy of four small armoured tanks. He makes the first mistake, which is to ask if friendly forces were around the Iraqi vehicles - not to the west.
Popov36: "Hey, I got a four ship. Looks like we got orange panels on them though. Do we have any friendlies up in this area?"
Manila Hotel: "Popov, understand that was north 800 metres?"
Popov35: " Confirm, north 800 metres. Confirm there are no friendlies this far north on the ground."
Manila Hotel: "That is an affirm. You are well clear of friendlies."
The second mistake is that neither pilot gave the precise grid references for the British patrol.
Popov35: "Copy, I see multiple riveted vehicles. Some look like flatbed trucks and others are green vehicles. Can't quite make out the type. Look like may be ZIL157s (Russian made trucks used by Iraqi army)."
Manila Hotel: "Roger. That matches out intel (intelligence) up there."
Popov35: "Hey dude."
Popov36: "I got a four ship of vehicles that are evenly spaced along a road going north
Popov36: "Look down at your right, 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock low, there is a... Left 10 o'clock low, look down there north along that canal, right there. Coming up just south of the village."
The third error is that the pilots convince themselves the orange panels are rocket launchers.
Popov35: "I don't have a visual."
Popov36: "Right underneath you. Right now, there's a canal that runs north-south. There's a small village, and there are vehicles that are spaced evenly there."
Popov36: "They look like they have orange panels on, though."
Popov35: "He told me, he told me there's nobody north of here."
Popov36: "I know. There, right on the river."
Popov35: "I see vehicle though, might be our original dudes."
Popov36: "They've got something orange on top of them."
Popov35: "Manila Hotel, is Manila 34 in this area?"
Manila Hotel: "Negative. Understand they are well clear of that now."
At one point, Popov35 asks the air controller for artillery to fire a marker round into the target area to clear up the confusion. But moments later, apparently without the marker round having been fired
Popov36 says: "OK, well, they got orange rockets on them."
Popov35: "Orange rockets?"
Popov36: "Yeah, I think so." Soon afterwards, his mind apparently made up as to the nature of the target
Popov36 adds: "I think killing these damn rocket launchers, it would be great."
The fourth mistake is that the pilot attacks without getting permission from the air controller first. The pilot also attacks without waiting for the artillery marker round - the fifth mistake.
The final mistake is that the pilot attacks the convoy again while still harbouring doubts about the identity of the target.
Popov36: "All right, we got rocket launchers, it looks like. Number 2 is rolling in from the south to the north, and 2's in."
Shortly after the second attack the pilots' mistake is confirmed and they are called to abort the attack.
Lightning 34 (US Marine Corps Forward Air Controllers on ground): "Popov. Be advised that in the 3122 and 3222 group box you have friendly armour in the area. Yellow, small armoured tanks. Just be advised."
Popov35: "Ahh s***."
Popov35: "Got a - got a smoke."
Lightning 34: "Hey Popov34, abort your mission. You got a, looks like we might have a blue-on-blue situation."
Popov35: "F***. God bless it."
Popov35: "F***, f***, f***."
Manila 34 : " Popov34, this is Manila 34. Did you copy my last over?"
Popov35: "I did."
Popov35: "Confirm those are friendlies on that side of the canal."
Popov35: "S***."
Manila 34: "We are getting an initial brief that there was one killed and one wounded. Over."
Popov35: "I'm going to be sick."
Popov36: "Ah f***."
Popov35: "Did you hear?"
Popov36: "Yeah, this sucks."
Popov35: "We're in jail, dude." Later
Popov36 weeps, saying: "God dammit."
Moments later, Popov35 says: "They did say there were no friendlies."
Popov36 replies: "Yeah, I know that thing with the orange panels is going to screw us. They look like orange rockets on top."
Popov36 is known to be a lieutenant colonel and Popov35 a major, but neither their identities nor the result of a US Air Force inquiry held behind closed doors have been released.

Make your own mind up about the operational integrity of these people.
